African Adventure

I was lucky enough to spend several months in Africa recently, as Artist in Residence at the Safari Series in the foothills of Mount Kenya.

It was an incredible experience and I was able to fully immerse myself in Kenya in all its glory: the wild, diverse habitats, the delightful people and of course the African wildlife. I would spend hours each day on game drives, searching out the animals with the help of the talented guides, sketching and taking 100s of photos before returning to camp, bursting with inspiration, to paint.

If you have had a holiday of a lifetime in Africa that you would like to commemorate do get in touch. I can paint your holiday highlight, perhaps a magnificent leopard or cheetah, or create a montage of your favourite moments. These can be your most exciting sightings, your Lodge or tent and perhaps the vehicle you used (Land Rovers all the way with the Safari Series!) Don’t worry if your photos aren’t great, I have a vast photo library. Prints can be made for members of the family, too. A perfect memento to hang in uni digs!

This would work really well with riding holidays too, the possibilities are endless!
