I have been painting for more than thirty years. I have led a nomadic lifestyle, worked as a writer/editor and more recently as a life coach, but always enjoy returning to my first love: creating portraits of clients, their beloved animals, wildlife and other private commissions.

Home again after 10+ weeks having the best time in Kenya. Blown away by all your wonderful birthday love, pressies and messages. Best of all, however, the usual "old bag" theme has been replaced by an African themed "Kate the Lion heart, Pride of the family!". How wonderful is that?!

After the most glorious 10 weeks as Artist in Residence at @safari_series I can think of no better place to spend my last couple of days in Kenya than at @peponi_hotel on Lamu Island. Blissful surroundings, lovely people, the most amazing food and the most incredible rooms... heaven!
